In 2017 I rebranded Sugar House Distillery, a small batch, grain-to-glass spirit producer in the heart of Salt Lake City. I incorporated the new look into redesigned labels for their bottle line, including award-winning bourbon, single malt and rye whiskeys. Working directly with the owner, James Fowler, the scope of my work involved art direction, illustration, lettering and design. The labels were built around a distinctive die cut shape with interchangeable elements so they could easily adapt to new products and special limited releases. The primary focus of each label is on unique custom lettering, with prominent Sugar House monogram, badge and wordmark elements reinforcing the brand.
